Your Skills: Your Future

Working with business: a new training initiative for social science PhDs

As part of our strategy to boost businesses engagement in the Social Sciences, SGSSS is launching a new training programme around working with industry, business and the private sector.

This training will be of interest to social sciences PhD students who are interested in working in partnership with industry throughout their academic career, or who are seeking employment in the industrial sector following graduation.

The training works in three stages and students will be expected to attend all three events hosted in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen (travel and accommodation costs will be met by SGSSS).
