Future Connections is an annual interdisciplinary conference on sustainability for PhD and early career researchers in Scotland. The event provides a unique opportunity for researchers at similar stages of their career to explore various aspects of conducting interdisciplinary sustainability research, share each other's work and perspectives, and expand their academic network in an informal setting. By promoting improved communication and understanding of the current research being conducted at Scottish institutions, the conference encourages researchers to broaden our perspectives and promote future collaborations across different disciplines and institutions.

Featuring participant presentations, our keynote speaker Tom Crompton, and an interactive Knowledge Exchange workshop with sustainability practitioners, Future Connections 2015 is set to open up important conversations around our broad theme: Sustainability Research in Action. More information on Future Connections 2015 can be found on our website,

Registration is through Eventbrite. Please note that Future Connections has a 2-part registration process. In addition to registering on Eventbrite, you will need to pay the registration fee (£15) on the University of Edinburgh's Epay site (link on Eventbrite page).

If you have any questions please contact the organisers through the Eventbrite page.
